1. Professional Workspace

Welcome to the BIMCORE Community! Treat this forum with the same respect you would a professional design office or construction site. We are a community of interior designers, architects, and BIM engineers sharing knowledge, workflows, and tools.

  • No Politics or Hate Speech: Discussions must remain strictly focused on Revit, BIM workflows, design, and our software products.
  • Criticize Ideas, Not People: Disagreements about workflows are fine. Personal attacks, insults, or aggressive behavior will result in immediate account suspension.

2. STRICTLY PROHIBITED: Piracy and IP Theft

BIMCORE is a commercial developer, and we strictly protect intellectual property. Violation of this rule results in an immediate, permanent ban.
You may NOT post, request, or share links to:

  • Cracked/pirated versions of Autodesk Revit or any other software.
  • Pirated copies of paid BIMCORE plugins, templates, or families.
  • Paid Revit assets from other creators or studios without their explicit consent.
  • Your employer’s proprietary templates or families if you do not have the right to distribute them.

3. Technical Support Etiquette

To get help faster and keep our database clean, follow these technical rules when asking a question:

  • Search First: Your question might already be answered. Use the search bar before creating a new topic.
  • Specify Your Version: Always state which version of Revit you are using (e.g., Revit 2023.1).
  • Show, Don’t Just Tell: Attach screenshots of the error, the family parameters, or the plugin window. “It doesn’t work” is not a valid bug report.
  • Use the “Solved” Button: If a user or admin gives you the correct answer, click the :white_check_mark: Solution button under their post. This is mandatory to keep our knowledge base useful.

4. Language Etiquette

As stated in our Welcome post, we are an English-first community to ensure knowledge is accessible globally.

  • If you post in your native language (RU, ES, PT) in the main forum categories, please do not use overly complex slang or idioms, so automatic translation tools (and our admins) can translate your technical issue accurately.
  • If you are replying to an English topic, please reply in English (using a translator like DeepL or Google Translate is perfectly fine).
  • For fast and informal discussions in your native language, please use our dedicated Chat Channels (English, Español, Português, Russian) located in the left sidebar.

5. No Direct File Uploads or Self-Promotion

Users are NOT allowed to upload or share custom Revit Families (.rfa), Dynamo scripts (.dyn), or plugins directly on the forum. All official free assets are provided exclusively by the Admin team in the designated categories.

  • No Self-Promotion: Do not use the BIMCORE community to advertise your own paid services, templates, courses, or third-party products without prior permission from the admin team.

6. Moderation and Flags

If you see a post that violates these rules, do not argue with the author. Just click the Flag icon.
The moderation team reserves the right to edit, move, or delete any content, and suspend any account for any reason at any time to protect the integrity of the community.
